Designated as “Florida’s provider of small business assistance,” the Florida SBDC at UWF has six offices from Pensacola to Panama City. Each of our locations has the resources and staff to help members of the Northwest Florida community start a new business, grow an existing business, seek contracts with the government or export products internationally.

In addition to one-on-one consulting, the Florida SBDC at UWF provides group training covering topics such as Starting a Business, to How to Do Business with the Government, Using Social Media to Reach Customers, QuickBooks Basics and QuickBooks Advanced. We also offer our popular five-part UWF Business Academy series for our clients in Northwest Florida.
Living along the Gulf Coast, it’s important for businesses to know how to prepare for disasters so you know what to do before, during and after a storm to protect your business. The Florida SBDC at UWF offers resources to help you prepare before a disaster, as well as Business Continuation Specialists to help affected businesses recover after the disaster has passed.
