Florida SBDC at UWF Named Florida SBDC Region of the Year

The Florida Small Business Development Center at the University of West Florida (FSBDC at UWF) earned top honors, being named the Florida SBDC Network’s 2026 Region of the Year. The Florida SBDC Network, the state’s principal provider of small business assistance, recently honored outstanding staff, partners, and volunteers at its Annual Performance Excellence Awards Celebration….

A Powerful Resource for Northwest Florida’s Small Businesses

The Florida SBDC at the UWF is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide partnership program nationally accredited by the Association of America's SBDCs and funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Department of War, State of Florida, and other private and public partners, with the University of West Florida serving as the network’s headquarters. Full funding disclosure available at floridasbdc.org/funding-disclosures. Florida SBDC services are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis. Language assistance services are available for individuals with limited English proficiency.
